The Madden series is a storied franchise. It is the most successful sports videogame in the world. However, I know a few people that have given up on Madden all together. I too was disappointed in Madden 10 in some respects. It’s a fact that some iterations will fall short of greatness. I believe that Madden 11 will be remembered as a pivotal shift in the series. Here are the top 11 improvements made in Madden 11.
Improvement #11: Better graphics
I know what you’re thinking. Jay, this is incredibly obvious! Of course the graphics are going to look better! Well sometimes the obvious is elusive, and I think this could be just the case. If I were sitting in a room looking at a screenshot from afar, it’d be hard to tell a difference from Madden 11 and last years. But seeing this baby in motion in all of its High Def glory on a Big screen TV the difference hit me in the face. The character models have been improved. They look less bulky and more refined, much more detailed. The in game lighting makes everything pop in just the right way. It all adds up to make a huge difference!
